In 2008 we opened our pig farm located in Dorila, Province of La Pampa.

-The breeding centre has a capacity of 1,100 mothers and it sells around 31,500 capons and females without service per year (a total of around 3.9 million kg of animal standing).

- We focus on reusing waste to promote the sustainability of the production model.

-We work with high quality genetics to improve the productivity of mothers.

FACILITIES

Located on a field of 30 hectares, the farm has gestation crates, piglet nursery, farrowing crates, and 16 finishing sheds. It also has changing rooms and an office for our staff, a laboratory, a balanced food plant, grain storage silos, scales for trucks and lagoons for effluents’ treatments.

TUV RHEINLAND CERTIFIED

On May 12, 2017 the Renovation Audit was carried out satisfactorily with an up-grade ISO 9001: 2015 of the Pig Farm, in which it was shown that a management system has been implemented according to the latest version of the indicated regulation, managing to keep the certificate.

 

NUTRITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS

Pork has excellent quality and quantity of proteins. It is very lean (pork loin is as lean as skinless chicken breast) and low in cholesterol (with levels of less than or equal to beef and poultry). In addition, it is very rich in potassium and poor in sodium, which is why it is highly recommended for people with high blood pressure.

NEW PIG FARM

In 2016 we incorporated a new pig farm in Reconquista, province of Santa Fe , which adds 1,050 mothers to our production. Through this business we transform forage and grains into value-added protein. We are focused on reusing waste to promote the sustainability of the production model. We work on genetics to improve the productivity of mothers.
